Welcome to Cayman Cardboard Boat Regatta
Once again adding to the mayhem of Pirates Week there will be a Cardboard Boat Regatta in George Town Harbour shortly before the Trial of the Pirates, The Fireworks Display and the Street Party to end Pirates Week in Grand Cayman.
The event is open to anyone over the age of 17 years & We welcome all companies and private teams. There is also a Paddle Board relay race between local schools & a 2nd open class race. Come and join in the fun, festivities and carnival atmosphere in the George Town Harbour area that surround the Final Party night for Pirates Week in Grand Cayman and at the same time help a worthy cause.
All funds go towards supporting a Special Needs Playground in Red Bay. You do not have to enter a boat to contribute. Please see our Sponsor Registration forms for more information. This is an excellent opportunity to have fun and is a great team building exercise for companies and their staff. Companies may enter one team or more and create some healthy interdepartmental competition.
The race WILL BE LONGER THIS YEAR and starts and ends on the beach in George Town Harbour passing around The Jolly Roger & Rock Island along the way. As always we expect plenty of media coverage and large crowds in the Harbour area during the race. So put your creative minds together and join us for a fun afternoon in the sun and support a good cause. There will be prizes for the first three teams to finish, Best Boat, and more.
